Because Bigger IS Better...

    The Dinosaur Thang

Once upon a time, oh, a couple of million years ago - despite special effects not being invented yet - behemoths really did rule the earth. Which is has come in very handy for those of us who love monster movies featuring - ta da - DINOSAURS!

From 1925's "Lost World" through dozens more (including, natch, "Jurassic Park" and "Godzilla") we've seen them stomp, snarl, scare and nosh on countless actors. And they also gave the world the excuse to see Raquel Welch, in a fur bikini, standing up to a T. Rex in "One Million Years B.C."

By the way, the silent "Lost World" has some gargantuan special effects and you can watch it for free!

Even before Raquel's 1967 romp with dinos (and muscled cavemen) there was humky Victor Mature and luscious Carole Landis doing the same in the 1940 version of "One Million B.C." And yes, sweetie darlings, you can watch it too, if you need a reptillian thrill or two!

We aren't sure the "The Phantom from 10,000 Leagues" (1953) is actually a dinosaur (kind of looks like a mutated catfish crossed with some weirdo whose picture shows up on online dating sites), but close enough. Besides, it's free and has plenty of snarly scares!
